Be grateful for the fullness that life is

IWV Sunrise by Cheryl McDonald

Today is Wednesday, or blog day.

It has been full week as usual. I got to spend time with both my daughters.
I got to meet daughter J and her family in Inyokern for an awesome lunch at Classic Burger. They were on their way home from a few days vacation. I got hugs too!

I got to spend the weekend watching the best soccer games ever! World Cup or some pro team? Nope my 9 year old grandson who is playing his first year of soccer and he made it on to an all star team. And the games were so much fun to watch. I hadn’t been to any games since last spring and the difference in the mastery of their playing was really exciting. Many of the boys on this team were from the same team as W and it was easy to see that they were all getting it. How to work together, to communicate on the field to get the goals made. They have much to learn yet, but still it was fun to watch them play and they did very well. They either won or tied all 3 games.

While in LA I also got to go out for dinner to a Peruvian restaurant with my daughter K and family. So many new flavors to try and we ordered lots of different dishes and shared them so we could experience it all. Also a wonderful treat. And I got lots of hugs here too!

It is good for me to remember how wonderful the week was, because when Monday came so did the technical difficulties that can only make one crazy. I have been struggling with computer issues, printer issues, and life issues until I was beginning to feel like nothing was going right!

And so now I can see that’s the important things are going right and the rest will work itself out. And that how it all works isn’t it? The sun always comes up even after the darkest night. Be grateful for the fullness that life is, and I am.

Have a happy day!

Thank you for taking a little time to get to know me. Making art has been my life, I love to tell stories through words and pictures. I am a multi-media artist working in photography, watercolor, various drawing media, and sometimes digital art.

  1. Always special spending time with family. My grandson just turned 18. We had a wonderful meal at a Japanese BBQ. Like you we ordered just about everything.
