2023, what will it bring?

A brand new year
What adventures
Will there be?

I have a list a mile long,
How much will I accomplish
In 2023?

It gives no promises
Yet lots of possibilities.

Will there be new glimpses
Into old questions?

If I take the blocks
And rearrange them
Will it bring new answers?

Just a turn of the head
Can bring a new perspective.
New vistas lay before me.

As the phoenix emerges from the fire,
Reborn anew.
This new year stands before me
Like virgin snow.

The past left behind,
now only a pile of ash.

Hold on to the good
And let go of the pain,
No longer a hinderance.

Each rebirth makes me stronger
and wiser. Look for new experiences
New joys, and new connections.

Remember to
Keep a balanced view.
Risk is always part of the equation.
There is no way around it.

Jump in, but keep your wits about you.
2023 begins today
And so does the work
to make it the best.

Today is the beginning of a new year. I have decided to participate in the WordPress Bloganuary challenge. We shall see how that goes! I am torn between feeling a sense of excitement and dread. The last few years have been hard on us all. However if we all work for positive outcomes and joy, maybe we can achieve it? Fingers crossed.
