She Wanted to Go Home

This is a follow up painting and poem to my last weeks blog called Sisters. It was done as a tribute to those we love who leave us too soon.

Sisters, is a watercolor that was inspired during a class I was teaching in an art gallery. It was a watercolor class, and the exhibit at the time in the gallery, was a mix of sculpture and paintings.

Letting Go

The pencil painting I am sharing today is called Letting Go, and I would have to say this is kind of a fairytale image. The princess heads off to the castle, dancing along a tightrope high in the clouds.

Balance

The concept of living a balanced life is not really about
All things being equal.
There really is no safe place,
Calamity could befall us at any moment.

Memories or Visions, I Choose Visions

The magic comes in the process of the unfolding, words and pictures brought together.
Reality created from a dream or a vision

Thoughts on Bravery

Some days, It takes being brave
Just getting up in the morning
Especially when it feels like the odds are against you.
